Meet the Atlanta Dental Spa Team

Maria- Practice Director I joined Atlanta Dental Spa in May 2005 and earned my bachelors degree in Business Administration from Oglethorpe University here in Atlanta. My position is rewarding in many different ways.As Practice Director, I get to stay involved with the “business” side of our practice. At the same time I have the opportunity to meet new people and build relationships, which I thoroughly enjoy. My husband and I were married in May 2006.Beyond spending my free time with him, you can usually find me at the gym or doing something fun outdoors.

Elizabeth – Clinical Dental Assistant I started my dental assisting career in 2002 and joined Atlanta Dental Spa (ADS) in 2007. Before coming to ADS, I worked in practices where the focus was general dentistry only. Now, at Atlanta Dental Spa, I have the wonderful opportunity to focus on the cosmetic aspect of dentistry and take part in smile-makeovers! Reviewing before and after results is so rewarding and motivates me to continue my education is this exciting profession. Dr. Boulden and Dr. Estep have taught me a great deal, and I truly love what I do!My husband Jim and I married in December of 2005. We have 2 children, Logan and Marah. Both kids are active in sports, which keeps us very busy with football, baseball, and cheerleading!

 

Jenny- Clinical Dental Assistant I was born in Chicago but grew up here in Georgia.  I attended Gwinnett Technical College where I received my Dental Assisting Certificate.  I have worked as a dental assistant now for 10 years and have loved every minute of it!  I was lucky to be able to join the Atlanta Dental Spa Team in 2011.  I am passionate about cosmetic dentistry where each day I get to work closely with patients to improve their oral health and help them to achieve a dazzling new smile!  When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my husband Nick and our adorable daughter Adeline.

 

Christi – New Patient Coordinator I joined the Atlanta Dental Spa Team in June of 2009 as the New Patient Coordinator. In 2007, I earned my dental assisting certificate and have worked in dentistry ever since. As the New Patient Coordinator of ADS, it is a joy to meet people every day and welcome them to our family! They are always impressed by our offices, staff and of course, our incredible Drs. Estep and Boulden. Everyone on our team is warm and friendly and that makes it a fantastic environment for work.In my spare time, I enjoy shopping, reading, and hanging out with my friends and family.

 

Vanessa- Insurance Coordinator I grew up on the southside of Atlanta and graduated from Georgia State University, where I studied music and sociology.  As an advocate for battered women and children, I volunteered at a local shelter and worked in social services for 3 years before joining the Atlanta Dental Spa family.  As the Insurance Coordinator at ADS, I enjoy working with such a talented and supportive team.  You can also catch me performing around Atl with local cover bands, U.S. Beat and Last Five Standing.  My husband and I enjoy grabbing burgers at the Vortex, dreaming up unique names for our future kids, and hanging out with our chocolate lab, Riley.

 

 Krissany- Patient Coordinator  I joined the Atlanta Dental Spa team in June 2011. In May 2012, I will graduate from Georgia State University with my bachelor’s degree in Business Economics and a minor in Hospitality Administration. I started my dental career in 2007 as a dental assistant and transitioned to the business office in 2009. I take pride in learning every patient by name and delivering the upmost in customer service and care. I am blessed to be part of a team that truly understands the importance of oral systemic health and uses that knowledge to educate our patients for their overall well being. In my time away from the office, you can find me in class, studying or at various
parks with my husband, Anthony and our Australian Shepherd, Avo!

Debbie – Aesthetic Hygienist I was born in Deerfield Beach, FL, and attended Columbus State University. My career as an Aesthetic Hygienist traverses 16 years where I have lectured, trained, and consulted in my area of expertise to benefit dental practices nationwide. I attend many advanced courses, and have fulfilled close to 100 hours of continuing education credit, exceeding the minimum 20 hours for licensure.I enjoy family time and attend many ball games and outdoor activities with my husband and our 2 children. I love to run, play at the beach with my family, water ski and snow ski in my spare time.

Charissa – Aesthetic Hygienist I graduated from Dekalb College with a degree in dental hygiene in 1996, and could not have chosen a better profession for myself! It is so rewarding to provide excellent dental care and build close relationships all at the same time. I joined Atlanta Dental Spa (ADS) this past year and am excited to work with such a knowledgeable team, as well as witness state-of-the-art technology, especially in the calm, serene atmosphere we provide at ADS.Outside of the office, I spend my time chasing after two sons, watching football with my husband of 13 years and spending time with friends and family. I love scrap-booking, running and being outdoors!

Amanda at Atlanta Dental Spa

Amanda- Aesthetic Hygienist I was born in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and grew up in Punta Gorda, Florida. I attended Tallahassee Community College where earned my Associate in Science degree in Dental Hygiene in 2004. I have been practicing here in Atlanta for the last seven years and feel truly blessed to be apart of the amazing dental team here at Atlanta Dental Spa. My top priority as a hygienist is providing our patients with the care, education, and support they need individually, to reach optimal oral health. I am an avid outdoorsman and sports fan with a love for good food, great wine and friends. During my time outside of the office you’ll find me in the gym, kayaking down the river, hiking with my Jack Russell “Miller”, camping, cooking, at a Braves game or watching football, Go Gators and Falcons!

Courtney – Hygiene Assistant I have been in the dental field since 2007 as a dental assistant.  When I came to Atlanta Dental Spa I became a Hygenie assistant.  I have loved every minute of working with our fabulous doctors and hygienists.  I enjoy educating patients on oral systemic health and helping to provide the best care possible for their specific needs.  In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my two kids Journey and Addison and my husband Tyler.  We enjoy going to the lake, watching movies and just spending quality time together!  I look forward to being with ADS for many years to come and continuing in growth,education and the best dental care available for my patients.

Jessi- Hygiene Assistant I started my Dental Carrer in 2010, and I have been with Atlanta Dental Spa since July 2011 as a hygiene assistant. I enjoy connecting with the patients and getting them to reach optimal health. Oral systemic health is a high priority to our office and I personally like to take time to educate the patient on this as well. Outside of work, I love to spend most of my time outdoors with friends and family. Rock climbing, camping and spontaneous roadtrips are what I enjoy most. The opportunity to work at Atlanta Dental Spa has been a blessing, I plan and hope to be here for years to come.
