Top Atlanta Cosmetic Dentists Win “Best of Show” for Porcelain Veneers

Atlanta cosmetic dentists Dr. Peter Boulden & Dr. Susan Estep earned some of the best awards in the Academy of Comprehensive Esthetics (ACE) National Smile Gallery Competition, which took place during ACE’s annual conference called “BEST OF ACE” in Bonita Springs, Fla. in September 2010.
Atlanta Dental Spa doctors showcased their work in the smile gallery, which challenges the nation’s best cosmetic dentists to submit smile makeover cases. The cases are judged against each other by a blind panel of conference participants and “celebrity cosmetic dentists“. The doctors who do the best dentistry win awards and medals.
Drs. Boulden and Estep swept the cosmetic aspect of the competition, winning the coveted “Best of Show” award. They also took home the overall 1st and 2nd place trophies for the Smile Makeover and Esthetic Dentistry categories.
- To enter the competition, dentists were required to submit raw (un-retouched) before and after photos of their cosmetic dentistry work.
- Each case was judged on several categories, including quality of dentistry, beauty of completed work, as well as natural aesthetics (the ability to create a natural – not fake – result).
