What are Lumineers?:   Lumineers are thin shells of porcelain that are bonded to the tooth to change the color, shape, or possibly size of your teeth.  They can dramatically change the appearance of your smile in as little as 2 appointments.

Is there discomfort involved? :   No. Because Lumineers do not require tooth reduction, there is no need to anesthetize the tooth.

How do I know if Lumineers is right for me?:   Good question.  Not everyone is a candidate for Lumineers.  Although incredibly thin, they can still add a degree of bulk to the tooth.  The only way you can determine if you’re a candidate or not is to come in for a complimentary consultation at Atlanta Dental Spa.

Are they durable?  How long do they last? :   Lumineers are extremely durable considering how thin the porcelain is (as thin as 0.1mm).  Since the porcelain is bonded to the enamel (strongest bonds in dentistry) there is clinical evidence for them lasting up to 20 years.   Just like everything else, this has a lot to do with how well you take care of your Lumineers investment.

How much do they cost?: The price of a Lumineer can vary from dentist to dentist.  There is still a tremendous amount of skill and labor that goes in to a “no-prep” veneer.   Our price is the same as our regular porcelain veneer prices (around $1400 / tooth).   Just like all of our dentistry at Atlanta Dental Spa we use the finest materials, ceramists, and techniques.    Your mouth is the most noticeable place on your face to others (other than your eyes).  It makes sense to trust that smile to someone who has performed thousands of cosmetic dental procedures like Atlanta Dental Spa.
