Meet The Dental Assistants

I was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia! I attended Athens Technical College where I became a certified dental assistant in 2009. I became a part of Atlanta Dental Spa in 2012. This team is absolutely amazing to work with, and I’m lucky to call them my second family! My passion for dentistry came from my own experience when I had the opportunity to improve my own smile! There is nothing more rewarding than helping others achieve a confident new smile they love! Outside of work, I enjoy being with my son Eli and spending time with my friends and family!

I became a part of this amazing team at Atlanta Dental Spa in June of 2011. I have been in the field of dentistry since 2004, with a background in management. I fell in love with assisting and caring for patients, and I can not imagine any other profession for myself. What sets Atlanta Dental Spa apart is our unprecedented compassion for our patients. As one of our surgical assistants, I enjoy caring for our sedated patients and providing a calm atmosphere to relax in. Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with family and friends and I have a love/hate relationship with the elliptical.

Hi, I’m Ruth! Born and raised in the Dominican Republic, I moved to Atlanta in 2010 and began my career as a Dental Assistant. My experience includes pediatrics, oral surgery, and even plastic surgery. My favorite days are those that involve surgical procedures resulting in dramatic life changes for our patients- I love being a part of that journey with them! I joined the Atlanta Dental Spa team in 2020 and I am thrilled to be working alongside Dr. Currie and Jobeth!

I’m Brittany and I am an Atlanta native. A few years ago I graduated from the Dental Staff School and shortly after got the opportunity to work with Charissa and the rest of the ADS team. I am so excited to enhance my skills and work with the best of the best! When I’m not working you can catch me with friends or snuggling my dog. But I’m looking forward to meeting and helping all the patients that come to Atlanta Dental Spa!

My name is Yesenia! I’m originally from Georgia but lived most of my life in Texas. I have been in the dental field for over 5 years now. I’ve had the pleasure to work both in General Dentistry and in Orthodontics! I love my job and the impact it has on others. A beautiful and healthier smile is the goal, there’s nothing more rewarding than that! Outside the office, I enjoy spending time with my family, my friends and my pitbull (furry child) BamBam!

Hi! My name is Bree and I’m Dr. King’s assistant at Atlanta Dental Spa! I’m originally from Southern California and moved to Atlanta back in 2009. I went to Kennesaw State to pursue a career in nursing and quickly realized I had a passion for dentistry. I’ve been in the dental field since about 2019 and have loved every second of it. I love our team and our passion to help our patients reach overall health and obtain a beautiful smile!

Hi! My name is Sela, and I’m currently studying Dental Hygiene at Georgia State. I grew up in Norcross, GA before I moved downtown and found Atlanta Dental Spa! I absolutely love the team and the impact we make on all of our patients’ lives. The best part about working here is seeing how passionate everyone is about giving our patients the best care and comfort. Outside of work you can find me practicing makeup. It is one of my favorite hobbies, and I’ve even done a few cool gigs like weddings!

Hi, my name is Alayna! I am so excited to be working at Atlanta Dental Spa. I have worked in the dental field for 2 years now and have found a true passion for dentistry. I realized at a young age how important a beautiful smile is for confidence while having treatment completed on myself. It is so meaningful to me to give patients the smile they desire. When I am not working, I am at the gym or studying to further my education. I would love to see you at Atlanta Dental Spa! 

Hello, my name is McKenna! I recently graduated from the Dental Careers Institute. I got the opportunity to become a Sterilization Tech in our John’s Creek location and I am loving every day. I am so grateful that I get to learn and grow in a place like Atlanta Dental Spa. What I love about Atlanta Dental Spa is that our number one priority is patient care. When I am not at work I love to be with my friends and family. I enjoy being outdoors, going for walks, and traveling when I can.
